Security Policy

This page explains how KGsuperstore protects your payment details and personal information when you shop with us. If anything here is unclear, contact us and we will answer.

We never see or store your card details

Our store runs on Shopify, and every payment is taken by Shopify's payment platform rather than by us. When you enter your card number it goes directly to Shopify and their certified payment providers — it is not stored on our systems, and our staff cannot see it at any point.

Shopify is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of the card industry's security standard, and that certification covers every store on the platform including this one. You can also pay with Shop Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay, where your card is replaced by a device-specific token and your real number is never shared with the merchant at all.

Your connection is encrypted

Every page of this store, not only the checkout, is served over TLS (the padlock in your browser). That means the information you send us — your address, your contact details, what you searched for — cannot be read in transit by anyone sitting between your device and our store.

What we do hold, and why

We keep the information needed to process and support your order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and your order history. We use it to pick and ship your order, to keep you updated, and to help you if something goes wrong.

We do not sell your personal information. Our Privacy Policy sets out in full what we collect, who we share it with, and how to ask for a copy or have it deleted.

Access to your account

Account passwords are stored hashed, never as readable text, so nobody at KGsuperstore can look up your password. Access to customer records is limited to the staff who need it to do their job. If you ever think your account has been used without your permission, change your password and tell us straight away.

How to spot a genuine message from us

We will never email, call or text you to ask for your full card number, your CVV, or your account password. Any message asking for those is not from us, however convincing it looks. Emails from us come from our own domain, and we will never ask you to pay through a link sent by SMS or social media.
